I was just sitting here thinking about it. After
the last Shovel Audio program I got to thinking
that.... Mary and Joseph must have been totally
confused by the experiences they were brought
through in delivering the One brought to us by God.
I mean they were on the run, afraid, hurried,
stressed, probably hungry, they had someone looking
to kill there first born son, they were homeless,
shut out by those who could have helped them and
unltimatley had to give birth to the One and Only
True Life in a dirty, stinky, stable full of hay and
probably crap. If they had judged their lives
according to the flesh they might have only doubted
God's love for them but, also for everyone else.
Yet, ultimatley God did indeed provide for them, and
they were and ARE loved through everything that
happened. He must love us the very same way.

Excellent, my dear friend!

Things are just not what they appear, are they?

By the way, I just finished editing last night's ShovelAudio and uploaded it. :)

For anyone who would like to listen to the audio
"Living In The Moment With IAM", [this weeks audio]
you can go to the main page of the shovel.net and
find it under "Shovel Audio".

Hope you will enjoy it. It definitely ministered to
me.

And God totally prepared them for this by speaking
directly to them before any of it happened. He is
still speaking today.

so very encouraging to know that he does not abandon us.  even when all appears and feels to be so hopeless, his light reveals to us that he is the light in us in the midst of the darkness we find ourselves surrounded by.  it is he who has made us light in the midst of darkness.  it is he who is our sufficiency, even tho' we tend to lose temporary sight of it.

there is no hope in any other.  true, this world is not our home, nor is it our friend.  the past several years, that is exactly how i feel about TIME, too!  i don't 'feel' like it is my friend.  it is just a temporary, inconvenient necessity!

anyway ... another wabbity twail  ...

yeah, i don't think joseph and mary's life together concerning their miraculous son was an easy, convenient or even later-on an always pleasant one.  i would think it was one full of questions, wonder and ponderings ... pain and sadness ... hardships and dangers ... fill in the blanks ... not too much different than our own, except for the details.  (i hope that made sense without sounding 'sacriligious' or something like that.)
