just miss hearing from you guyz ... miss you ... i haven't posted in quite a while, but i still pop in to read.  would love to be caught up on whoever wants to play 'catch up' on each other's lives, hearts, minds, etc.    any takers?

i will start ...

jim and i stay busy with home ... chores, projects, daily demands.  we also stay busy with grandkids.  jim stays busy with work and his computer as well.  i have slowed down soooo much that it seems (it is reality really) to take me forEVER to get to anything and stay with anything and comPLETE anything.       the ol' body is slowing down so much slower than i can appreciate, yet am being forced to 'give in' if you know what i mean.    don't get me wrong ... i DO fight it and determine to move on with some things, but ... some how i LOSE a lot more often than i want to!         limitations of an aging body .... yyyyyyUCK!  thank god it is not who i am in totality. just a temporary 'housing' of expression and function.    something that pleases god to and for and concerning his purposes.

i thought our house was aging faster than me for a while, but i feel like i am passing it up these days.    in fact, i think i am too close to its age for any personal comfort!

just popping in to say hi and send hugs all around.

gotta go get to the usual things calling out to me ... shower after exercise, laundry, grocery shopping, picking up the grandson from school ... those kind of things.

how are YOUs?????

I love your colourful post there.

Our life has changed a lot over this past year.
Dale's not working now because of his lungs. He has
COPD, which covers a broad spectrum of medical
issues, the bottom line being "bad lungs". But, as
with all suffering in life, this is where Jesus
seems to specialize, doesn't He?

We are like you in that we also have the regular
things in life, and grandkids to keep us pretty
busy--and I'm still working.

Thanks for the hugs and nice to hear from you.
Joy

oops ... i just realized that smile above might be taken the wrong way.   i didn't mean to smile at dale's present bad lung health.  please don't think that at all.    that is not what i meant.     it was just a general smile of acknowledgement and thanx for your reply.

a few moments ago i was just thinking about how the health of these bodies is kind of oxymoron-ish, isn't it?    it can take soooo much and yet still be so fragile.   relative and 'just depends'.

anyway ...   i send hugs your way ... please share with dale.
