Hope everyone is having a nice/fun/restful Labor Day.

One of our well pumps went out and we have no water.
It makes you appreciate having water at the turn of a faucet.

It's great there is no more laboring In Christ!!

Thanks for your words and thoughts. I will be at Home Depot laboring on Labor Day ... but I only go there to have fun.

Jim

thanx debi ~

spent a lot of time in the kitchen today and doing laundry.  jim and i managed to make it to a movie today, too.

the kids and grandkids weren't here today, so we had some time to ourselves to do what we could without much interruption.  we can forget how much time is taken up in interruptions until the interruptions aren't there, and then you discover that you have accomplished a little more with the time you have that you don't ordinarily.  if that long-winded sentence makes any sense.

no, i do not define our kids and grandkids as interruptions.    it just requires re-directed time and energy, that's all.

speaking of laundry ... i have to go get it off the bed now so jim can get to bed.

so good to hear from you!    sorry to hear about the well-pump and no water!  eeeeeeYIKEs!  how long will you have to do without?  if we lived closer we could fill up jugs of water and bring 'em your way.    sighhhh ....

Thanks for the thought Sherri.
Sorry you had to work Jim. My husband has never gotten holidays off either and so we really never think about them much except Thanksgiving which we usually just observe another day.
Yes, we got our water problem fixed Tues night
but now it smells like chlorine but that should get better if I keep some water running outside. Luckily, we keep 5 gallons of drinking water in reserve and have nice neighbors that let us shower.

Sometimes life feels like one big fix-it project-
glad that's not true about our Life in Christ-
we've been made perfect.
