 Just something I found ironic:

I've been reading about different diets (that's because I need a better one). There's this one called, the Paleo diet, based on what our ancestors ate 100,000 years ago. It's very evolutionary based. These people ridicule creation scientist and christians for what they believe without "proof" but I still haven't figured out how they determined so dogmatically what our ancestors ate in the paleolithic age???? Guess we're supposed to go back to what they ate as we haven't evolved enough to eat grains and other foods from modern agriculture. Plus, we're supposed to eat and exercise like the neanderthals but not live like them otherwise. (So when you exercise, pretend you are being chased by a saber tooth tiger.) (The diet seem like a good one though-although who knows as nutrition seems like such a soft science.)

I know we can find this with any thinking of the natural, fleshly mind.

I think they found some lost camera footage from that time period.

Hi Jim,

Good one.
(Thanks, I'm glad to have that figured out.)

i don't think there are any dinosaurs around left to eat either.    nor is the fauna and environment the same, ya know?  this old earth has gone through as many changes as man has.  in fact, man and beast has all had to adjust and adapt according to all the changes in and upon the earth and its atmosphere and environments.  not to mention how man himself has effected and continues to effect the earth, environment, atmosphere, beasts of the earth, foods of the earth, etc.

diets!  yyyyyIKEs!   sighhhh ...

i don't think the earth, man and/or beast are finished adapting, changing and adjusting.  i think it is an on-going never-ending reality.  the earth is a living thing ... it has to change and adapt and reshape and ... well ... do what it has to do to comfort and balance itself.  man and beast can get caught in the mix.

man is funny isn't he?  just because he may become enlightened about something, does not mean there is so much more he is NOT in the dark about, and how that darkness effects all his formulas and equations for explaining how he thinks things had to be at one time without even being there.  so much speculation and conjecture, even tho' there could very well also actually be some truth mixed in.  it is still limited beyond his willingness to admit that he is and could be WRONG about so many things.

i don't say that to say he can not and does not and will not actually KNOW things that are true and prove them to be thus, but that they were true and without need of 'proving' all along in order for them to be what they were, if that makes any sense at all.  if you listen to the 'experts' sometimes, it is as if they are saying it has BECOME true just as and because they discovered it to be so.  as if there discovery has made it true all of a sudden.  i suppose in a way it has to their perspective.  to them it did not exist until it could be proven to them.  but do you know what i mean?

science and nature are wonderful to explore and learn from.  i am not against that at all.  i am just having a few moments of thought about man and his (generic term of course for the mind of man) desperate need to be right and have perceived control over his intellectual rightness concerning his discoveries, etc.  as if he can take all the credit because it was his discovery and that made it so.

awwww ... blcht ... blah blah blah ... i don't even know what i am trying to say.    just chalk it all up to a few more moments of sherri-blather.  something i seem to have TOO MUCH of today!

Sherri,

"so much speculation and conjecture, even tho' there could very well also actually be some truth mixed in."
Good point.
"man and his (generic term of course for the mind of man) desperate need to be right and have perceived control over his intellectual rightness concerning his discoveries, etc.  as if he can take all the credit because it was his discovery and that made it so."
This is so true.

I always appreciate, enjoy and am encouraged by your sherri-blather!
