i can relate so much concerning distractions that attempt to consistently rob us of the awareness of true joy that we only know in him ...
those things which we must deal with that simply use-us-up and burn-us-out, whether it be physically, mentally, emotionally, and/or any combination of them.
we often surrender in those times to conclusions which insist to us that those things and their negative effects on us
merely prove that there is a valid reason to believe that we are lacking in some way, else we would do more yet, or we would be more productive,
more successful, more ... dot dot dot ... fill in the blank right?
it is very refreshing indeed, as you pointed out mcsis, to realize that our joy is him ... and may i also add to that a bit, that our joy is him in us,
in-the-midst-of and despite any conclusions that demand to us that those very things, those times, those feelings, those events, etc. prove
it's so true and most encouraging to realize that our joy in him includes us, for we are those joined together in and with him, and in reality there is nothing
that can separate us from him or from one another. our true reality testifies that it is even better than just being all about him, but is also inclusive of being
all about us as well ... together in him as the new creation.
also as you testified, mcsis, it is evidence and encouragement within of that freedom and true joy of him when we
realize it is no longer about 'what i need to do'. hallelujah!
