So, as I got ready to start writing a message here, a hymn popped in my head. Which is odd, because
I rarely think of hymns.

"What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus."

I think the reason that pops in my head is the question, "What can...?" Insert whatever you like.
Right now, I struggle with decisions to make in the future, when I will deploy again, am I doing my
job well enough, will I have enough time to get my education done before retirement. All these
questions among others bombarding me daily, sometimes hourly. What can any of this do to me? To
believe the world would leave me paralyzed, because it all could ruin me. I mean, I am already
behind the eight ball making some of these decisions so late in my life. Add to that the
consequences of what is going on in the world, with the economic situation in Europe affecting
EVERYONE!

In spite of all that, there is this "part" of me that is untouched; unfazed by the whirlwind
threatening to engulf me. Just when I think that it might just, this "part" says, "Enough."
Amazingly, it is. "Peace." And there is!

Maybe it was the questions in the hymn bringing to mind Paul asking if there was anything that can
separate us from the love of God? So, what can?

Love,
Bill

Yes and thirded as well!!

Isn't it soooo WONDERFUL and MIRACULOUS to hear Father's voice, through the indwelling Son, in the midst of all the waves that try to separate us from our invisible reality. Isn't He so WONDERFULLY FAITHFUL.

They are all out there waiting the Sons return, when the good news is, HE'S HERE .

Thanks Bill

Indeed it is wonderful and miraculous!    I am so thankful that all those waves 'can NOT' separate us from that reality!

Great to hear from you both today!!

Bill,

According to he that is in the world EVERYTHNG
can[seperate us]. For you will see this coming at you
all day long from most anything you encounter.

However, according to that which is unseen, NOTHING
can separate you or me from the love of God that is in
Christ Jesus our Lord.

You know, all the things I have ever thought that could separate me from the love of God have been shown to be bogus speculations of the natural mind. Thanks to God for that!!

Nothing.

That brought to mind the movie Neverending Story.
The movie is seared into my mind because my younger
brother and sisters practically wore out the VHS
copy we had. The Nothing was the evil monster in the
movie. Funny how a story can take a word that
literally means no thing and turn it into
something. We do that in real life. Roosevelt's
quote, "We have nothing to fear but fear itself."
Seems he turned that nothing into something as well;
fear. Come to think of it, that is the power of
nothing--fear! In Christ, there is nothing to fear,
not even fear itself.

Hello everyone,

Funny how NOTHING can stir so much (Being as matter.)

Indeed, Nothingness is a great mirror (in the end, as in the beginning.)

Have a good Christmas, you all.
