Just finished a book titled "The Shack" written bt William P. Young sold by Amazon and Barnes and Noble.  It is fiction but a story that uses the genre of a story to by pass the theological filters that we all have, mostly out of needing to have them to make is feel that we are in the crowd who "gets it!"

The book leaves with you with a God who loves you so incredibly wonderfully that all you can do is trust Him with everything you have.

Bob,

Thanks for your kind words; however, I must admit it's more like I'm getting it.  It seems the more I really understand, the less I really know

It seems like when we "get it," it enlarges, or God dismantles or seriously modifies it because it was filled with false notions from the beginning. Kind of like buttoning a 21 button sweater, only to find out that when you've finished, you realize that you started out wrong by putting button number one in hole number two.  No matter how perfectly well you finished buttoning the sweater, the whole process is wrong.

Yes...but your less likely to make the same mistake twice...which is a good thing, right?

Absolutely, unless you attempt to force the botched up look of the bottoning of the sweater into the realm of being the right way to do it.

Thoughtful ! Force....Like trying to put a square peg in a round hole. A little laughable!
