Just wanted to say Hi and say that I just finished a time of sharing with McDave over coffee at the Goodbye Blue Monday Coffee Shop here in Northfield, MN.  It was good.  It was also pouring rain when we got done Dave gave me a lift home and then took my daughter to work.  My car was being used by another daughter.

Thanks, bro. Dave.

Ok, I have been debating whether to ask this question, but I cannot hold it in any longer. I notice you guys drink quite a bit of coffee. I do not drink any coffee. Is coffee a requirement to get into the kingdom of heaven? I will change if I have to.

No, Ron, you don't have to drink coffee, but if you buy a cup for me and McDave, I think you'll be in.

Thanks Tim. I think I can do that. In fact, there is an entire book in the Bible that God devoted to teaching us men that it is our job to make coffee-Hebrews.

caffeinaholics!!

coffee, tea, chocolate ~  i have many addiction-bouts myself with it all!     my tongues taste buds soooo love them each and all!  can't forget the sugar that has to go with it all, of course.

and don't forget dave's slogan:  it's not works, it's coffee!

so ... kingdom of heaven?  nah.  i deduce that the coffee kingdoms of mcdave and tim are kingdoms which include grace, so ... i think you are welcomed there even without the coffee.

um,ron?you are one of the most biblical literate guys i know but this particular scripture is talking about brewing BEER
and as far as coffee,i don't think being a coffee drinker will be held against you though that is my personal opinion and have no actual revelation from the HS on that

Ok just remember SHER to first wake up to a nice tall glass of H20 with a lemon squeeze and then you ought to be a bit better off once you hit the bean speed!

Are there some woes I should be aware of?  I used to enjoy a good cup of coffee, even just finished one, till I heard about woes.  Yikes.

jim and i are enjoying our mugs of coffee with our eggs and feta this morning ... late as it is ... late start for me, even tho' he had already been up hours ahead of me.  it would just be so precious and wonderful to be sipping WITH you and enjoying being together and chatting over it ... or over anything or nothing.

woes ... i can be SUCH a 'kill joy', can't i?!     sighhhh ....

coffee woes ... i won't 'go there' now.  i want to enjoy my poison addiction this morning.

love you guyz!!

Poison addiction!? My dear sister, how can one enjoy a hot cup of aromatic coffee when it's considered "poison"?  No, no, no.

jim TOLD me you were gonna say something like that!!

"...how can one enjoy a hot cup of aromatic coffee when it's considered "poison"?"  tim

i dunno, but I do it a LOT sometimes!       i try to do it in 'moderation' when i can't avoid it altogether, but ... i do battle with my tendencies toward 'extremism' sometimes.
